On the 25th of July 2022, the Your Turn Move (YTM) directors visited the Witvlei community and engaged with families, children and community members. The purpose of the visit was to confirm the community needs and to inform the Foundation’s strategic focus areas.
The Foundation believes that strong families are the basis for the social and economic wellbeing of children, adults, the community and society. YTM’s strategies are aimed at providing the family members with the resources and tools they need to understand their aspirations, set family and community goals together, create action plans and implement those plans to achieve their goals.
In order to successfully achieve the goals of the Foundation, we established a group of volunteers of the Foundation. We had a formal meet and greet with these volunteers, who further shared the areas of community needs with specific focus on the youth.
